KARE Wristband Frequently Asked Questions
Does USkares.org make any money off of these efforts?
No. USkares.org is strictly set up for relief purposes only. Our for-profit company, Reminderband®, still operates to meet the needs of custom phrase wristband wearers worldwide. Due to our loyal customer base, we've been able to set up this charitable branch of our company. Donating to worthy causes has been a part of Reminderband® since its beginning. (See Reminderband® News for info on past charitable involvement, or read our customers' own testimonials).
Where does my contribution go and how does it get there?
All proceeds from the first 1,000,000 KARE bands Reminderband® will give to Hurricane Relief to aid victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. After this initial donation of 1,000,000 KARE bands, all additional proceeds will be donated by Reminderband® toward relief efforts. USKares has already donated large sums to Acadiana Outreach Center, the Red Cross, and the Salvation Army. All future proceeds will go to Acadiana Outreach Center to help the ongoing grassroots efforts of rehabilitation.
How long does it take to process my order?
For the in stock KARE bands on this web site, processing time is about 1 to 2 business days.
What type of shipping do you offer?
We currently offer shipping through the United States Postal Service and Federal Express. Our shipping and handling rates are calculated automatically upon checkout.
- $0.75 for orders between $4 and $10
- $1.25 for orders between $10 and $16
- $1.75 for orders between $16 and $22
- $2.25 for orders between $22 and $28
- $2.75 for orders between $28 and $34
- $3.25 for orders between $34 and $40
- $3.75 for orders between $40 and $46
- for large orders over 200 pieces it is $4.00 shipping for every 100 wristbands after the first 200.
Faster shipping methods are available.
We currently offer shipping to Canada, UK, and many other select countries. Shipping prices are $1 - $2 US dollars above the standard shipping rates for some countries, and $5 - $6 US Dollars above standard rates for other countries. Packages are shipped via air-mail and usually arrive within 7 business days. Fed-Ex International Economy or International Priority may also be available, depending on which country you are ordering from. Exact shipping charges are calculated when you place an order before you pay.
Do you make money off of shipping?
No. Any additional proceeds from shipping, should there be any, are donated to Acadiana Outreach Center.
What do you use to make your wristbands?
We use 100% silicone to produce our wristbands. They are made using our custom quick-mold process. Our wristbands are durable, pliable, and manufactured to last!
What sizes of wristbands do you carry?
KARE bands come in three sizes: large, medium, and child. The large bands are 8 3/8" around and will fit most adults and large-framed teenagers. The medium bands are 7 3/8" around and will fit most teenagers, small-framed women, and children. The child bands are 5 7/8" around and fit children 4-6 years old. They are not intended for children younger than four. Please see the spec table below for other measurements.
